Happy Birthday to...

ME! Yep, today is my birthday and I thought I'd take a moment to celebrate with you all! Let's have a little party, shall we?!

First we'll need to decorate and you know those pom pom tissue paper flowers are all the rage so I whipped up a few yesterday.

These are soooo easy to make and there are so many fun tissue paper colors out there to use! My scrapbook store put a tutorial on their blog for how to make these if your interested. Check it out HERE.

Next up I have a birthday card to share. Yesterday Emma's Paperie was celebrating their birthday and posted a contest to create a birthday project. So, I used more of my Making Memories Flutter collection and the tissue paper pom pom idea (but on a much smaller scale) to create this card.

Now, who would like a little cake?
Isn't this cake so pretty? I found it on Martha Stewart's site here.

And no party is complete without a few presents, right?!

So my first gift to you is a copy of the March/April Paper Crafts magazine. Just leave me a comment telling me something about your birthday...when it is, a great gift you have gotten, or a fun way you have celebrated. I will pick a winner this Friday to receive the magazine so be sure to come back by to see if you won!

My second gift is to offer you 10% off any purchase from my Etsy shop this week...beginning today March 7th through midnight Saturday, March 13th. In order to receive the 10% off please purchase the items you would like and put Birthday Bash in the notes to seller. Then you can wait for a revised invoice from me or you can go ahead and pay for the items and I will refund you the 10%.

I have added lots of new items to my shop lately...some fun felt and corrugated embellishments as well as surprise boxed sets of my handmade cards. Who doesn't love a surprise?! :)

I hope you've enjoyed celebrating with me...now I'm off to do a little celebrating of my own!

Shoot, I forgot to say something about my birthday in my last comment. You can delete that one if you want. My birthday is on New Year's Eve and we usually celebrate with a game night.

Happy Birthday to YOU! Hope your day is the best one yet! We usually have family together and just have fun with games, movies, cookout and of course cake and ice cream. How sweet to offer a little birthday giveaway. You are to sweet. Please don't add me to the giveaway. I already have this inspiring magazine. Good Luck to everyone else.

Love the flowers! Man, we made tons of those for my 8th gr. graduation way back in the dark ages...mid-70s!! Wow, do I feel old! My birthday is Sept. 8 and last year I got to spend it in Phoenix with my 2 little grand daughters!
Hope your day is extra-special!!

Happy Birthday girl! I hope it was a wonderful day! I love your celebration you're having on your blog! FUN!

My birthday was February 10th. Normally my parents come down and we do fun stuff and enjoy each other's company but this year I went there so I could see my cute little nephew too! Spending time with family and friends is the highlight of my birthdays! I hope yours was filled with the same!

Well I hate my birthdays! For one thing ... I hate being reminded I am getting older and for another thing ... they are no fun anymoe. Sad but true. No gifts exchanged for a few years now but my husband this year - rather than take me out to dinner, cooked me a large pizza plate of "Hard Rock Cafe" delicacies complete with breaded onion rings, steak with fried egg on top, breaded mushrooms and spirally chips! Was a nice touch but ...... oh well ... there's always next year! since I used to have such lovely birthdays as a child, I think my expectations are too high and nothing ever lives up to them!!!
