Growing in Unity - Day 2

Today I have a project to share using Unity's School Rock Star set. I think this set is so great for scrapbooking the school years and for teacher gifts too. I have also used it for a few cards, one of which you can view here.
A month ago I found these great kraft folders with elastic closures on clearance at Borders for only 50 cents! Needless to say I bought a bunch of them! When I was growing up, my parents always saved my pictures, report cards, and projects and as I got older it was so fun to look back on it all. So, I am doing the same for my boys and I thought this folder would be perfect for keeping track of all of the special artwork, writing, etc. that my oldest son does this year in Kindergarten.

I also created this for Stamp Something's first challenge of the year which is 'Something New'. I used my new Cosmo Cricket chipboard pieces (The Wildest ABC's cigar box) that I received for Christmas from my son. My hubby took him to our LSS and he picked them out all on his own...what great taste!

Here are some close ups of the Unity stamps and a picture of the inside of the folder. It is about a 1/2" thick so it will hold a fair amount. I think I might need to decorate the inside a little too!

Thanks for visiting today! I'll be back tomorrow with another card!

So cute! I try to keep things like this for my kids, but with five of them, the stuff is all spread out in various boxes - and it adds up fast! Bet I could adapt this so I had a box for each of the kids for each school segment, rather than year (elementary, middle and high school)

Very cute page! Love the craft background! For some reason, I'm afraid to use a background other than white - I need to expand my background colors!
