Happy Monday! Well, for those of you visiting me today who are wondering what the title of this post means, I'll tell you a little about what I am doing this week. Unity Stamp Company has fabulous stamps and a great following of wonderful customers. One customer decided to post projects featuring Unity stamps every day for one week which then encouraged another to do the same and set up a schedule for other customers who might like to participate too. I think the schedule is now filled through May! So, this is my week and Angela (the owner of Unity) is even providing 1 Unity stamp to be given away to one of you who leaves a comment this week on my blog posts. The winner will be announced on Thursday in the Hip Hop Winners Thread in the Unity Forum.
Okay, now onto the good stuff! :) My first Unity set was Gratitude=Joy, which I absolutely love, and so I thought it would be the perfect set to start out my week in Unity. For Christmas I made a set of thank you cards for my Aunt using this set along with my Basic Grey Archaic paper (which I received from my Unity Secret Santa, Amy :). This first card is one of my favorites.
The sentiment stamp is actually gratitude=joy but I often mask one word or the other depending on what works best for my card/project.
The following cards use one of the leaf/flower stamps from the Gratitude=Joy set but the thank you sentiments are not Unity.
For this card I also used the worn grid background stamp on the orange paper to give it some added detail. If you haven't gotten one of Unity's background stamps yet, they are a must have!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win a Unity single and come back to visit each day this week! Also, if you are new to Unity and do not have any of their stamps yet please let me know in your comment...I just might have an extra surprise up my sleeve! :)
