A Sketch Challenge

Well, I have been keeping an eye on 2 sketches 4 you for awhile now because I love Kazan and Laura's sketches and I like to see everyone's cards. However, I was waiting until I got my blog up and running before I actually participated in the challenge. So, here is my card based off of Kazan's sketch #9.

I think this paper and giraffe stamp by Imaginisce (Baby Powder Collection) are just adorable! I used 3D foam squares to pop up the center panel, the giggle sentiment, and the giraffe to give some dimension. And I sponged Colorbox fluid chalk creamy brown around the edge of the center panel to give it a softer look and help focus in on the giraffe. I placed the center panel just above the words Baby & Blessing to keep with Kazan's sketch. Now, if only I knew someone having a baby! :) Here are a few more details about my card: giggle sentiment (Unity Stamp Company); Making Memories pastel colored brads; Prima flowers

    Super cute card! I am having a baby in 3 months -- a boy -- due in Dec. You can hang onto this until then and then send it to me!!! Love the green brads in those dark chocolatey primas! Gorgeous work!
